Jatropani Peak Expedition

Jatropani Peak expedition is the must-go trek for every genuine trekker who likes to explore the natural beauty as well as the challenges. It is the perfect peak expedition for beginners. The height of the Jatropani Peak is about 4026 meters, which offers an excellent 360° views. During this trek, you will enjoy BekalTal and BrahmaTal lakes as well, which makes this expedition more fantastic.

From Haldwani, get bus or taxi for Gwaldam or Tharali, then take a Taxi for Deval, then Lohajung.

  • Day 1:
  • Kathgodam/Rishikesh to Lohajung Base Camp
  • 210 Km

If you opt for transportation with us, we will pick you from Kathgodam.
Today is the first day of our adventurous journey. We will cover 220 km of distance in 8-9 hours. In between, you will see many famous places, like Bhimtal Lake, which is a beautiful hill station in Uttarakhand. Other attractions are Kainchi Dham, Almora, Kausani, Gwaldam, etc. By crossing Kausani, we will see the magnificent view of the mighty Trishul and Nandaghunti peaks. The mountains are getting closer as we reach Glwaldam.
Meals: Dinner.
Night: Overnight stay in lodge/hotel.

  • Lohajung to Bekalal

Get ready for the trek. Keep only necessary things. You can leave extra luggage at the camp. We will have some breakfast in the morning, and then we will have a trek briefing section. After that, we will start our trekking to our first camping site Khopdedha, near Bekaltal (3038m). After reaching there, you can explore the Bekaltal and nearby places.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Night: Overnight stay in Camps.

  • Bekaltal to Tilandi Bugyal to Brahmatal

  • 4-5 Hrs

We will start our trek early in the morning and heading towards the Brahmatal Lake(3240m). It is the place where Lord Brahma meditated a long ago. Brahmatal is small but a beautiful lake. You can capture some magnificent shots here. On the east side of the lake, you can observe a water stream fall into the lake. The lake is sacred, so we will not do any activity by which the lake could be impure.

  • Brahmatal to Jatropani to BrahmaTal
  • 12 Km
  • 5-6 Hrs

The summit day arrived today. We will climb up for the Jatropani peak as early we can. You will see a magnificent view of the Himalayas, as we discussed in the overview section. After capturing the memories for a lifetime, we will go back to the BrahmaTal campsite.

Night: Overnight stay in Camps.

  • BrahmaTal To Dolidhar to Lohajung
  • 10 Km
  • 4-5 Hrs

The last day of the trek has arrived. We will have a final look at the Brahmatal lake then we will start climbing towards the Jhandi Top. At Jhandi Top, we will spend some time and stare at the beauty of the Mighty Himalayas. We will be now descending from Jhandi Top to Lohajung via Dolidhar. We will stay at the lodge at Lohajung.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Night: Overnight stay in the Lodge.

  • Lohajung to Kathgodam
  • 210 Km
  • 9 Hrs

You will have breakfast then you will be departing from Lohajung to your destinations with the lifetime memories earn from the trek.

Night: Nill.
