Anaphalis royleana

Anaphalis Royleana is commonly known as Linear-Leaf Pearly Everlasting. It belongs to the daisy or sunflower family. It is a perennial herb, a relatively small semi-shrub, which could grow up to 35 cm high. Anaphalis Royleana is an attractive flower with small and rounded flower heads with yellow-centered disks surrounded by fuzzy threadlike white bracts. The diameter of its flower head is usually around 1cm. These plants are drought resistant and heliophilous, can be found above 3000m between boulders and dry pastures in the Himalayas. These plants are using as medicinal plants since ancient times, used in the treatment of many contagions, lymph nodes, metal poisoning diseases, wounds, and skin diseases.
