Tiffin Top ( also known as Dorothy’s Seat ) is a short trek, ideal for the novice, school trips or for those who want to enjoy the scenic beauty of Nainital. This spot is one of the best spots around Nainital city. You can see a beautiful view of Nainital lake, and many famous places/architectures are visible from here, like- Snow-view point, St. Joseph School ( Founded: 1888), Raj Bhavan (Governor House, founded-1897), Golf course, Sherwood College, Birla Vidya Mandir School, and many more.

Haldwani to Barapathar Nainital

We will pick you at Haldwani Taxi stand / Bus stand and drive to Nainital Barapathar, the starting point of the trek. This Itinerary will be optional if you want to arrive Nainital by your own.

Barapathar to tiffin top

  • Distance - 3.5 Km
  • Trekking Time - 1-2 Hrs.
  • Maximum Altitude - 2290m / 7513ft

After spending some time at Lover’s Point, Barapathar, we will start our trekking to Tiffin Top. It will take 2 hours to reach the destination. We will stay there for 1 and 1/2 hours and we will have some snacks.

  • Trekking Time - 1-1.5 Hrs.

We will start descending to Barapathar and then Bhotia Market, Nainital. We will enjoy some delicious food and admire the beauty of Naini Lake.

Nainital To Haldwani

  • Distance - 44 Km
  • Driving Time - 1.5-2 Hrs.

Now we will heading towards Haldwani, which is the end of our short trip. It will take around 1.5 -2 hours.
