Kedarkantha trek is a wonderful trek that gives you the best trekking experiences in the winter session. It gives you stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range, as well as snow-laden high-altitude meadows, snowy dense forest, beautiful villages, and thrilling experience of a frozen lake. Kedarkantha Peak is one of the peaks easiest to climb.

You can get buses, taxies for Purola village from Dehradun, from there you can get taxies for Sankri.

Itinerary
Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri base camp
- Distance - 190 Km
- Driving Time - 7 Hrs.
- Maximum Altitude - 1950m
If you opt for transportation with us, we will pick you from Dehradun.
Today we will cover 190 km of distance. It will take approximately 6-7 hours.
Meals: Dinner.
Night: Overnight stay in lodge.
Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab Campsite
- Distance - 4.5 km
- Trekking Time - 4 Hrs.
- Maximum Altitude - 2780m
- Altitude Gain - 830m
After breakfast, we’ll start trekking to Juda-ka-Talab. It is a 4.5 km trek, which will approximately take 4 hours.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Night: Overnight stay in tents.
Day 3: Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp
- Distance - 2.5 km
- Trekking Time - 2 Hrs.
- Maximum Altitude - 3085m
- Altitude Gain - 305m
After breakfast in Juda ka Talab campsite, we will start trekking to Kedarkantha base camp at the height of 11,250ft. It takes approximately 3 hours. Overnight stay in the tents.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Night: Overnight stay in tents.
Day 4: Kedarkantha Base Camp to Kedarkantha
- Distance - 6 km
- Trekking Time - 6 Hrs.
- Maximum Altitude - 3795m
- Altitude Gain - 710m
It is the summit day which, we have been waiting for, where we will cover the last 1250ft patch to stand tall in the 360-degree view from the summit. Capture the beauty around there then we will descend to our base camp.

Day 5: Kedarkantha Base Camp to Hargaon
- Distance - 4 km
- Trekking Time - 2 Hrs.
- Maximum Altitude - 2264m

Descending from 11,250ft to 6400ft, we set out for the last day of the trek in Kedarkantha trails. Today’s final segment of the journey is 6km, which will take us 4 hours downhill trek. Overnight stay in the tents/lodge.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Night: Overnight stay in tents.
Day 6: Sankri to Dehradun
- Distance - 190 Km
- Driving Time - 7 Hrs.
You will have breakfast then you will be departing from Sankri to your destinations with the lifetime memories earn from the trek.
